Sales Manager - Germany

Client:

Our client has been established for over 35 years and has experienced huge growth to become one of the leaders in the manufacture of flexible and in Europe. With 3 factories, which are strategically located in different European countries, they offer clients some of the widest range of flexible packaging solutions available on the market.

Job Role:

· Developing new business in the German market by creating new accounts for the company.
· Identifying and developing growth opportunities to capitalize on them.
· Negotiating profitable and long-lasting commercial agreements.
· Achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
· Keeping up to date with market trends, regulations, and competitors in the food packaging industry.
· Collaborating and building relationships with different departments within the company.
· Prospecting for leads through cold calling and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
· Conducting phone and video conference meetings, creating proposals, negotiating and closing deals.
· Managing and maintaining client relationships to ensure continued growth and success.
· Reporting and working closely with the International Sales Director, this role is part of a team responsible for driving new business development in the territories of UK, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

Key Requirements:

· Sales of a manufactured product.
· Proven sales in packaging or an associated industry would be advantegous.
· Experience in cold calling, lead generation and appointment setting, and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn for prospecting.
· Demonstrable track record in achieving new sales.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Strong analytical and strategic skills.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Having your own client portfolio and experience in handling sales worth more than 3 million euros would be an advantage.
· Fluent in both German and English.
