Biesterfeld at FAKUMA 2024: New materials and comprehensive advice
Biesterfeld will be in its usual place in Hall B4, Stand 4201.
Among the innovations that Biesterfeld would like to inform visitors about is the expanded portfolio of engineering thermoplastics with partner Celanese, which has been supplemented by the Celanex® PBT, Celanyl® PA, Ecomid® Recycled PA, Frianyl® PA and Frianyl® PPA product families in addition to the existing mandates. The company will also present the biomass-balanced ABS solutions of its Asian partners, which are used in a wide variety of applications. Thanks to the acquisition of the TotalEnergies plant in Lavéra by INEOS, Biesterfeld can also offer new random copolymers and nucleated PP homopolymers for medical applications. Two new Elastollan® product series will be presented together with long-standing partner BASF, which enable cost-efficient TPU applications: the 1400 and SP 96 series. Also new in the portfolio is Delrin® 51HSE, the new generation of acetal homopolymers for high-performance plastic gears. Solef® PVDF from Syensqo is available again on the market.
Sustainability will once again be an important focus of the trade fair appearance. The distributor's portfolio of resource-saving materials is growing continuously and includes a variety of materials ranging from standard polymers to high-performance plastics, including circular materials such as mechanically and chemically recycled plastics and bio-based and bio-circular materials.
