We at Symplast are delighted to introduce our Symflex F Series, a dedicated line of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) and Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPVs) specifically engineered to include superior flame-retardant properties.

The Symflex F Series is our answer to the industry's demand for materials complying with specific safety requirements for superior flame retardancy. This series is recognized for its robust safety features and is highly regarded across a wide range of industries.

Key Features:

- Shore Hardness Range: Provides a wide hardness spectrum ranging from 30 Shore A for softer applications to 60 Shore D for applications requiring higher rigidity.
- Service Temperature: Demonstrates exceptional thermal stability, operates efficiently over a broad temperature range from -40°C to 140°C.
- Compliance: Compounds within the series are compliant with major international flame retardancy standards such as UL 94 V0, GWI (Glow Wire Ignition Temperature) and GWFI (Glow Wire Flammability Index), ensuring safe and reliable applications.
- Special Properties: Superior flame-retardant properties, excellent mechanical properties, high UV and ozone resistance and remarkable resilience
Primary Applications:
- Electronics and Electrical Components: Perfect for the production of flame-retardant components such as connectors, cable insulation and switchgear parts.
- Automotive Components: Ideal for manufacturing automotive parts, such as under-the-hood components, wiring insulation and interior parts.
- Construction Materials: Suitable for the manufacture of building materials that require flame retardancy, such as cable ducts, pipes and panels.
- Rail and Aerospace: Great for producing components used in the rail and aerospace industries, owing to high flame retardancy ratings.
- Medical Devices: With their safety compliance and flame-retardant properties, ideal for creating safe, durable components for medical devices.
