Measurement technician (m/f/d)
Your tasks include in particular:
• Measuring jigs, measuring fixtures, tools, and components
• Operating and confidently handling manual coordinate measuring machines and measurement software, preferably Metrologic
• CAD-assisted creation of CNC measurement programs, preferably Metrologic, for CNC coordinate measuring machines (Wenzel)
• Creation of measurement reports and initial sample inspections, including coordination with the customer
• Determining the measurement system capability (MSA1) in consideration of customer requirements and applicable standards (e.g., VDA 6.3)
• Final outgoing inspection of testing systems, jigs, and fixtures
• Measurement acceptance and user training with the end customer
• Observing safety, health protection at work, and environmental protection measures
Your profile:
• Model maker (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) for mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or a comparable field in the automotive industry
• Experience in metrology and programmable measuring machines is an advantage
• Knowledge of common metrology standards and procedures for calculating statistical metrics
• Spatial thinking and technical understanding for the accurate interpretation of all form and position tolerances
