As a system supplier, VBI Plastics has focussed on the automotive, medical technology and electrical industries. Single or multi-component plastic parts are produced largely automatically in 3-shift operation on 24 injection moulding machines with clamping forces of up to 650 tonnes. One of VBI's specialities is the production of simple to complex assemblies with the necessary assembly work, which is carried out partially or fully automatically. The in-house toolmaking department is largely used for process optimisation and repairs. New moulds are built in cooperation with the Chinese partner company SUK China.
