Compatibilizer – ten MAXILOOP products for customized recycling solutions. Gabriel-Chemie’s compatibilizers not only offer outstanding compatibility between different polymers to minimize processing issues, but also optimize the mechanical properties of the final products. These results in improved performance, enhanced recyclability of post-consumer and post-industrial recyclates, and expanded application possibilities. Compatibilizer Use Cases live at FAKUMA – recycling of multilayer film residues, polystyrene, and sports equipment.
Masterbatch for stadium seats made from PP, glass fiber-reinforced PP, and PA6, as well as from industrial rPP. For traditional applications using virgin polymers, Gabriel-Chemie offers over 100 specialized articles for customized solutions in flame retardancy and UV protection. For the use of recycled post-industrial PP, the masterbatch line for stadium seats has been developed in a broad color spectrum, has successfully passed comprehensive tests, and meets the most important European standards. This ensures that the final products not only meet safety requirements but also deliver aesthetically pleasing results and reliable light stability according to EN13200-4 (European standard for spectator facilities).
The innovation from Gabriel-Chemie: Water-retaining agricultural films are made from 100% biogenic raw materials, are biodegradable in soil, and do not lead to the formation of permanent microplastics. On the contrary, the main component, the water-retaining absorber, is also certified as a soil enhancer. These compounds are ideal for use as mulch film in agriculture. Additional applications for the construction or packaging industries are already under evaluation.
